             We are CELBRATING 151 years!

On Monday, March 25, 1872, presiding conference elder Dr. Jacob S. McMurray, D.D. commissioned the Rev. Martin Luther Ganoe "to build a church at West Clearfield, which is a promising village." With those words, the establishment of a new community church in the village of West Clearfield was authorized by the Altoona District of the Central Pennsylvania Conference, Episcopal Methodist Church to be included in the Clearfield Circuit along with Clearfield, Centre, Mt. Joy, Wolf Run, Shawville, Goshen, Congress Hill, and Gillingham.
